The number of cleaning professionals assigned to your home can vary from 1 – 4 and is determined by the size of your home and our availability. This is typically determined the night before your appointment.
At Green Maids, we prioritize consistency. If you have a preferred team, let us know, and we’ll assign them to your appointments whenever they’re available. Without a specified preference, we’ll dispatch the next available team.
We request that you cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before its scheduled time. Cancellations or reschedule requests made after this cutoff are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of your cleaning cost.

No, you are not required to be home during your cleaning. However, for your first appointment, we recommend being present when the cleaning crew arrives to provide a walkthrough of your home. After the cleaning, it’s also a good idea to do a final walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations.
Because our cleaning professionals service multiple homes each day, we ask that you do not provide them with a key to your home to prevent the risk of loss. Most customers grant access via a smart lock. If you don’t have a smart lock, please leave a key in a designated location (e.g., under a mat or plant pot) on the day of your appointment. You can specify the key location in the notes when booking your cleaning.
